Michael ByungSun Hwang

CEO of Bigbang Angels

Michael Hwang, Managing director of Bigbang Angels, Inc which is seed accelerator in Korea. He started his career as a software engineer in Samsung Electronics and was a serial entrepreneur and consultant in LG CNS, director of a mobile service platform in LG Electronics, visiting professor of KAIST. Since 2018, he has founded Across Asia Alliance, a start-up community with more than 40 global accelerators and VCs and large corporations. He is also a Board member with SOSV, Chinaccelerator, 01Booster and Invention Lab.

Ryan Hyuckchan Kwon

Vice President of Bigbang Angels

Since Ryan started many venture-startups and worked on exit, he have a high understanding of large companies, joint-venture companies, and start-up ecosystems, and used to collaborating with large companies at domestic and abroad. Through an investment strategy called 'Deeptech for Sustainability', he supported the TIPS, technology commercialization of tech startups, and global expansion. He also supported growth through the technology commercialization of domestic and foreign listed companies and technology startups, and the PoC(Proof of Concept) of startups.
Ryan focuses on discovering and investing mainly in startups in ICT, Bio/Healthcare, Greentech and Ag&Foodtech, Future Mobility sectors.

David Jinyoung Kim

CEO of The Invention Labs

David Kim is a manaing partner of bigbang angels and founder of The Invention lab. He started working with SoftBank Media from 1997 to 2004, founded ROA Consulting, an IT technology strategy consulting organization in 2005, and then established The Invention Lab in February 2017. The Invention Lab has made initial seed investments intensively in more than 80 service platform startups. Kim led the discovery and seed investment of the following Vertical Sector Platform Startups.
ZipDoc (exit complete), Petdoc (exit complete), yamtable (series B complete), HomeMaster (acquisition and merger with JB Gas Company), Jaranda (series A2 complete), Voicethru (series A complete), Giguin Company (series A2 complete) , Store Camera (Series A complete), OKXE (Series A complete), Go2Joy (Series A2 complete), GOMI (Series A complete), SSK (Pre-Series A complete), etc.
From 2020, Kim has formed a project fund with KOSDAQ-listed companies Daewon-Kukbo Design-Boryeong Pharmaceuticals and is actively making strategic seed investment.
